Cute Pictures

Just before Christmas we took the kids in for some pictures. I know it is well past Christmas, but the pictures were cute and I have been doing some stuff with them lately and thought I would finally post them. I know there are a lot, but I have a lot of favorites.

Twenty-Nine

We celebrated Ben's 29th birthday the only way we know how, by staying home. Quindy was sure he wanted a spiderman cake, but wal-mart had nothing for spiderman. Instead we improvised by making a blue cheesecake with red cherries. Good enough for me. I did try to make it special though because I feel really bad for him. I think he is the only person I know who is still in his twenties. I know he puts on a brave face, but deep down, I think it really bothers him. :)

Problem solved

Quindy's nose hurts from having a cold, and since band-aids make everything better, she decided to take care of it. I don't know where she keeps finding band-aids. I thought I hid them better.

HE WALKS!!!

Slade has decided walking is the way to go. He is still a little wobbly and crawls a good deal of the time, but everyday he walks a little further. Now I really will never be able to catch him.

My Sunbeam

Quindy is now a Sunbeam. I was sure she was too little to go, but apparently she is not because she loves it. As if I didn't have enough to be sad about by Slade walking.

Why I Should Never Leave Ben Home Alone or Ben's New Love

When we moved in, Ben would not let me hang hardly anything on the wall, no curtains, no clock, anything that required more than a tiny nail could not go in the wall because he did not want to repair any holes when we moved out. I reminded him of this several times while waiting for this antelope to be completed. However, the day he brought it home I made the mistake of leaving for 15 minutes. When I came home, this is what my wall looked like. Now when we are eating dinner, I will catch Ben just staring at it. I told him he was in love with it and he said that he sure was. I haven't told him to take it down or I would leave, because I am not sure which he would choose.
